The 2023 CX-5 earned a 5-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, continuing a strong safety track record, and received IIHS Top Safety Pick recognition for 2023-24 model years. The CX-5 also holds a J.D. Power predicted reliability score of 82 out of 100, falling into their "Great" range.
